Ride and Go LLC ("Ride and Go", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our mobile applications, websites, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Account information: name, email, phone number, password, profile photo, and date of birth.
Driver information: driver's license, vehicle registration, insurance, background check results, banking information, and tax identification.
Location data: precise GPS location while the app is in use (and, for drivers, while online and available for trips) to match riders with drivers and route trips.
Trip and order data: pickup and drop-off addresses, routes, trip times, restaurant orders, food preferences, ratings, and tips.
Payment information: processed by our payment processor Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash reports, and analytics events.
Communications: messages exchanged in-app between riders, drivers, and customer support.
We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

When you opt in to receive SMS text messages from Ride and Go (for example, ride confirmations, driver arrival alerts, food order status, and delivery notifications), we collect your phone number and your consent record.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.
Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or get assistance by replying HELP or calling 757-840-3502. See our SMS opt-in page at /sms-opt-in and our Terms of Service for full messaging terms.
Drivers receive 75% of the fare for each completed trip and order; Ride and Go retains 15% as a platform service fee. Driver earnings information (gross fares, tips, fees, payouts) is shared with Stripe for processing and with the IRS via Form 1099 when required by law.
We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Trip and payment records are retained for at least seven (7) years for tax and audit purposes.
Residents of certain U.S. states have additional rights including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising. The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted databases, access controls, and PCI-compliant payment processing. No system is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is operated in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
